passangPassang Geljen Sherpa is one of our young and experienced guide and also manages this company. .He was born in the Himalaya.As a child Passang was brought up at a small village of Lukla (Gateway to Mt. Everest),that’s where his hometown is.So we must say we have a local expert to share the local knowledge with you.

Passang began his guiding career back in 1997,soon after the sad demise of his father in order to help himself and his family.He worked as a assistant guide for Peregrine Adventures with his dad’s colleagues for many years and worked as a group leader with an Australian based company for last 5 years .

Being a graduate student in Business Passang never thought of working in an office but he was keen on doing adventures stuffs and he now believes he doesn’t even work for a single day for living because he loves what he does. Passang is also a  good climbing guide who have completed numerous climbing training conducted by Nepal Mountaineering Association and Nepal Mountaineering Instructors’ Association.He started his climbing career back in 2008 and has lead group in many 6000m mountains.In 2013 may 20th Passang made it to the top of Mount Everest making the entire team of Sherpa Holidays proud.So,we must say that we have an expert to share you his experience and show you the beautiful Himalayas.

passangggPasang Sherpa both chairperson and our other guide who is young and energetic. He was born in a little village of Tapting, Solukhumbu and was raised up in Kathmandu.As he grew up he always had an interest in adventure & travelling. He has trekked with his dad very often when he was in School as his dad was leading different groups to all different parts of Nepal. So,after his university as a business student he started working as an assistant guide for few years and then worked as an trekking leader for a renowned British company(EXODUS) for more than 8 years and has even won many awards while working with them. He was awarded as the best tour leader in the year 2009 and 2011 by Exodus UK. He is very friendly with his staff and is been loved by all of them. This gentleman,with his excellent skill of communication is always happy to share his experience with a smile and has a great knowledge of the country to share with. He has been engaged in various social work activities through Sherpa Holidays and also has completed first aid training conducted by NOLS,KEEP,RED CROSS etc. So,there’s no doubt that you will be guided by an expert for your unforgettable experience in the Himalayas.
